Core Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment on oral solid dosage lines using batch manufacturing records and approved equipment settings.
- Monitor granulation, compression, and coating stages through control panels and manual in process check sheets.
- Record machine parameters, material movement, and stage wise yields in production logbooks.
- Maintain production area cleanliness through line clearance checklists and housekeeping records.
- Handle breakdown reporting using maintenance request forms and equipment history cards.
- Verify raw material dispensing against material requisition slips and batch documents.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Tablet compression machines, coating pans, and granulation equipment.
- Batch manufacturing records, equipment usage logs, and cleaning records.
- In process quality testing methods for weight variation and hardness.
- GMP documentation systems and shop floor observation formats.
- Preventive maintenance schedules and equipment manuals.
- Production area monitoring instruments and safety devices.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside an oral solid dosage manufacturing plant with multiple production lines.
- Daily coverage includes commercial scale batches, equipment changeovers, and material staging.
- Without this role, batch documentation completion and equipment readiness remain incomplete.
