Core Responsibilities
- Operate stainless steel reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and material transfer systems for active pharmaceutical ingredient batch manufacturing.
- Record batch manufacturing data in approved batch manufacturing records and production logbooks.
- Monitor Distributed Control System screens to adjust temperature, pressure, and agitation parameters during synthesis stages.
- Inspect raw material charging, solvent recovery, and intermediate handling using standard operating procedures.
- Prepare equipment cleaning records, line clearance documents, and daily production summaries.
- Support audit readiness through review of production registers and equipment usage records.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Distributed Control System platforms used in active pharmaceutical ingredient plants.
- Batch manufacturing records and electronic production documentation.
- cGMP guidelines applicable to regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Reactor vessels, vacuum dryers, centrifuges, and solvent distillation units.
- Deviation reports, change control forms, and corrective action documentation.
Experience Context
- Work performed inside an active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing plant handling multi kilogram and commercial scale batches.
- Daily involvement with parallel reactor trains, utility systems, and solvent handling infrastructure.
- Absence of this role results in incomplete batch records, unstable processing conditions, and delayed material release.
