Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Batch Manufacturing Records during tablet and capsule manufacturing using compression and coating machines.
- Operate compression machines, monitor punch sets, and record tablet weight, hardness, and thickness in production logs.
- Perform equipment washing using CIP systems and manual cleaning tools as per approved cleaning records.
- Document line clearance activities through checklist formats before batch changeover on production floors.
- Maintain dispensing and production area housekeeping using approved cleaning schedules and status labels.
- Verify material movement entries in SAP against physical containers during batch stage transitions.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Batch Manufacturing Records and Batch Packaging Records.
- Compression machines, blister packing lines, and washing equipment.
- In-process quality checks including hardness tester and friability tester.
- Cleaning validation checklists and equipment logbooks.
- SAP ERP production modules.
- cGMP documentation formats.
Experience Context
- Work occurs inside oral solid dosage manufacturing plants handling multiple commercial batches daily.
- Exposure includes batch sizes ranging from pilot to large-volume commercial production.
- Without this role, batch documentation gaps and equipment readiness failures delay production release.
