Core Responsibilities
- Operate granulation, compression, coating, and packing machines using approved batch manufacturing records.
- Dispense raw materials and packaging components with calibrated weighing balances and dispensing logs.
- Record equipment usage, stage completion, and yield details in controlled production documents.
- Monitor tablet and capsule manufacturing parameters through machine-mounted control panels.
- Perform in-line checks using hardness testers, friability testers, and visual inspection aids.
- Clean manufacturing equipment and production areas following validated cleaning instructions.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Rapid mixer granulators, fluid bed dryers, and multi-station tablet presses.
- Coating pans, blister packing lines, and carton packing machines.
- Batch Manufacturing Records and equipment logbooks.
- In-process testing instruments for solid oral dosage forms.
- Dispensing balances and material status labeling systems.
- Area clearance and equipment cleaning documentation.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside an OSD pharmaceutical production plant operating continuous shifts.
- Daily exposure includes multiple commercial batches across production, packing, and stores interfaces.
- Absence of this role results in halted batch progression and incomplete manufacturing records.
