Core Responsibilities
- Review daily production plans against approved batch manufacturing records and issued master formulas.
- Authorize material dispensing through material requisition slips and controlled warehouse issue notes.
- Inspect compression and coating lines using machine logbooks, in-process check sheets, and control panels.
- Verify completed BMR and BPR sets by cross-checking yields, entries, and supporting attachments.
- Approve line clearance records after physical checks of equipment status and area boards.
- Record downtime causes in maintenance logs and initiate preventive actions through work orders.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Tablet compression machines, coating pans, granulators, and blending equipment.
- Batch manufacturing records, batch packing records, and master formula documents.
- In-process control tools including hardness testers, friability testers, and weighing balances.
- Manufacturing execution systems or controlled production registers.
- GMP guidelines, audit checklists, and SOP documentation.
Experience Context
- Work takes place on high-volume OSD manufacturing floors handling tablets and capsules.
- Production batches involve multiple shifts, validated equipment trains, and regulated changeovers.
- Without this role, batch release timelines slip, documentation gaps arise, and line readiness weakens.
