Core Responsibilities
- Maintain bank account records using account opening forms, know your customer files, and authorized signatory documents.
- Prepare foreign letter of credit files using bank formats, buyer credit notes, and amendment request documents.
- Record import shipment details through bill of entry copies, bank debit advices, and maturity tracking sheets.
- Compile export documentation sets including invoice copies, packing lists, and shipping bill records.
- Track export realization status using bank realization certificates and factoring company statements.
- Review regulatory submissions using RBI compliance checklists, FEMA reference documents, and UCP 600 guidelines.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Trade finance documents including letters of credit, buyers credit notes, and bank guarantee formats.
- ERP accounting systems used for treasury entries and bank reconciliation records.
- EDPMS and IDPMS reporting portals used for trade transaction monitoring.
- Import export documentation sets including shipping bills, bills of entry, and realization certificates.
- Bank correspondence files, sanction letters, and credit facility documents.
Experience Context
- Work is performed within a corporate finance office handling multiple domestic and foreign banking relationships.
- Daily exposure includes high value import shipments, export invoices, and credit limits across banks.
- Absence of this role leads to delayed trade settlements, non reporting of transactions, and blocked banking facilities.
