Core Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly general ledger entries using accounting software and verified vouchers for construction cost heads.
- Compile project wise expense statements from purchase invoices, subcontractor bills, and payment registers.
- Review bank statements and perform manual reconciliations against recorded receipts and payments.
- Generate statutory working sheets for goods and services tax returns and income tax filings.
- Maintain fixed asset registers with capitalization documents, depreciation schedules, and asset tags.
- Record payroll journals based on approved salary sheets, attendance summaries, and deduction files.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Enterprise resource planning accounting modules used for construction finance.
- Spreadsheet software for cost tracking, variance sheets, and reconciliation formats.
- Goods and services tax return forms and supporting annexures.
- Income tax computation statements and audit schedules.
- Bank reconciliation statements and payment advice formats.
Experience Context
- Work is performed in a corporate office environment supporting multiple active construction projects.
