Core Responsibilities
- Conduct formulation development studies using laboratory-scale mixers, blenders, and compression equipment.
- Generate analytical data through dissolution testing, assay studies, and impurity profiling.
- Prepare development reports, stability summaries, and laboratory notebooks for R&D projects.
- Operate analytical instruments to evaluate formulation behavior during development stages.
- Document experimental observations within development protocols and study reports.
- Support analytical method transfer using validated procedures and reference standards.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Analytical instruments such as HPLC, dissolution testers, and UV spectrophotometers.
- Laboratory-scale formulation equipment including blenders, granulators, and tablet presses.
- Stability chambers and sample pull systems.
- Development protocols, analytical reports, and laboratory notebooks.
- Reference standards and calibration documentation.
- Analytical data review and trending systems.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out in pharmaceutical R&D laboratories and analytical development units.
- Projects involve multiple formulation candidates under parallel development timelines.
- Studies cover pilot-scale batches and laboratory validation trials.
- Without this role, formulation understanding weakens, delaying scale-up and regulatory filings.
