- Review laboratory trial records using experimental data sheets and approved research notebooks.
- Oversee pilot plant trials by monitoring reactors, control panels, and trial batch sheets.
- Verify analytical results generated from laboratory instruments before scale-up reference.
- Approve technical reports, study summaries, and development dossiers prepared by research teams.
- Inspect laboratory equipment, pilot units, and chemical storage areas during scheduled rounds.
- Maintain archival files containing formulation studies, synthesis routes, and validation records.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Chemical reactors, pilot plant units, and laboratory glassware.
- Analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, and titration systems.
- Research documentation, study reports, and development dossiers.
- Process flow diagrams and scale-up reference documents.
- Laboratory information recording systems.
Experience Context
- The role operates within corporate research laboratories and attached pilot facilities.
- Work spans multiple chemical development studies and pilot-scale batches.
- Without validated studies and documented trials, commercial manufacturing scale-up cannot proceed.
