Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and update master project schedules using Primavera P6 files, baseline charts, and weekly progress reports for active solar sites.
- Review civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings through AutoCAD files to confirm site readiness against approved layouts and issued for construction documents.
- Track material movement by maintaining bill of quantity registers, delivery challans, and stock reconciliation sheets at project locations.
- Inspect site work using approved checklists, daily site logs, and photographic records aligned with construction drawings.
- Monitor contractor billing by validating measurement books, work completion statements, and cost tracking spreadsheets.
- Maintain compliance records including safety permits, method statements, and statutory registers required at renewable energy sites.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Project planning tools.
- AutoCAD drawings, general arrangement layouts, and as built documentation.
- Enterprise resource planning systems for material and cost tracking.
- Bill of quantity documents, measurement books, and contractor billing formats.
- Site safety registers, inspection checklists, and compliance documentation.
- Solar plant monitoring dashboards and SCADA based performance reports.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out at active solar construction sites handling multi megawatt capacity projects with parallel civil and electrical work fronts.
- The role interacts with heavy equipment, inverter stations, mounting structures, and grid connection infrastructure on a daily basis.
- Without this role, schedule slippages, material mismatches, and cost overruns directly affect plant commissioning timelines.
