Core Responsibilities
- Plan wireline job sequences using well programs, tool strings, and depth correlation sheets.
- Supervise logging unit rig up using winches, pressure control equipment, and surface acquisition systems.
- Review acquired log data by checking depth references, tool response curves, and acquisition reports.
- Maintain wireline job records including run sheets, pressure test certificates, and tool checklists.
- Coordinate tool deployment by verifying logging tool specifications, calibration files, and maintenance logs.
- Compile final wireline reports with plotted logs, summary tables, and archived digital files.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Wireline logging units, pressure control systems, and downhole tool assemblies.
- Acquisition software used for real time log capture and data validation.
- Depth correlation systems, tension charts, and cable measurement devices.
- Logging tools for open hole and cased hole environments.
- Wellsite documentation including job programs, safety permits, and reporting formats.
Experience Context
- Work is performed at active drilling sites with continuous interaction around wellheads and logging units.
- The role supports complex wells requiring multiple tool runs and extended logging durations.
- Without this role, log data quality drops and well evaluation timelines face delays.
