- Install electrical cables using conduit pipes, junction boxes, and wiring diagrams at construction sites.
- Mount and connect switchboards, distribution panels, and circuit breakers using hand tools and testing meters.
- Inspect earthing systems with grounding rods, clamps, and resistance measuring devices.
- Repair lighting fixtures, power sockets, and control panels using insulated tools.
- Read electrical layout drawings and verify alignment with installed wiring routes.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Multimeter and insulation resistance tester usage.
- Low voltage cabling systems.
- Electrical layout drawings and load charts.
- Handheld electrical tools.
- Earthing and grounding systems.
Experience Context
- Work performed at active building sites with live electrical lines.
- Handling multiple floors and power distribution points.
- Electrical faults can halt lighting and equipment supply across the structure.
