Core Responsibilities
- Receive construction materials at site stores and verify quantities against delivery challans.
- Maintain inward and outward stock registers for cement, steel, and finishing materials.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved requisition slips and allocation notes.
- Conduct physical stock counts and compare results with bin cards and ledger balances.
- Label and stack materials in designated storage zones following site layout plans.
- Prepare daily stock movement reports for submission to project offices.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Material receipt notes, delivery challans, and gate entry registers.
- Inventory modules within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Bin cards, stock ledgers, and consumption tracking sheets.
- Measuring tools used for bulk construction materials.
- Warehouse layout drawings and storage identification tags.
