Core Responsibilities
- Visit hospitals and clinics daily using approved call planners and record doctor coverage in daily sales report formats.
- Present product literature, visual aids, and brand folders to doctors during field visits and capture prescription generation details.
- Place primary orders with distributors using company order books and verify stock availability against distributor stock statements.
- Review secondary sales data collected from distributors and stockists to confirm product movement in assigned territory.
- Conduct chemist visits to check shelf presence, expiry dates, and display compliance using physical stock check sheets.
- Prepare tour programs, expense statements, and daily call reports for submission through company reporting systems.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Doctor call planners, daily call report formats, and tour program documents.
- Product visual aids, brand folders, and printed promotional literature.
- Distributor order books, secondary sales statements, and stockist ledgers.
- Expense claim forms and sales reporting templates.
- Basic customer relationship management or enterprise reporting systems used for field sales tracking.
Experience Context
- Work is performed in assigned sales territories covering hospitals, clinics, and retail chemist outlets.
- Role supports prescription generation volume and distributor order flow across multiple brands.
- Without this role, territory level doctor coverage lapses and distributor stock movement remains unverified.
