Core Responsibilities
- Record site level expenses using accounting vouchers, cash books, and supporting bills.
- Prepare vendor and subcontractor payment statements based on certified bills and measurement documents.
- Compile client billing files using contract terms, bill of quantities, and running account bills.
- Maintain statutory registers for goods and services tax and tax deduction records at site.
- Track project budgets using cost codes, expense ledgers, and monthly summaries.
- Generate site level financial reports for submission through management information systems.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Tally ERP accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel for cost tracking and bill preparation.
- Running account bills and bill certification documents.
- Goods and services tax returns and tax deduction statements.
- Project budget sheets and cost code registers.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out at an active construction site supporting tunnel and road infrastructure.
- Daily handling of high value vendor bills, site cash records, and client billing documents.
- Without this role, project cost visibility, statutory compliance, and billing timelines are disrupted.
