Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain QMS manuals, SOP files, and controlled formats aligned with IATF 16949 clauses.
- Record internal audit findings using audit checklists, NCR logs, and corrective action registers.
- Review APQP files including PFMEA sheets, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
- Update document revision histories through document control software and approval records.
- Track customer audit observations using closure trackers and supporting evidence files.
- Monitor calibration status through gauge registers and calibration certificates.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- IATF 16949 standard manuals and clause interpretation guides.
- APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan documentation sets.
- Internal audit checklists and NCR documentation formats.
- Document control systems and version control logs.
- Calibration registers and gauge master lists.
Experience Context
- Works within an automotive manufacturing plant handling multi-shift production lines.
- Supports quality systems across machining, assembly, and inspection equipment.
- Absence of this role leads to audit non-conformance and uncontrolled documentation.
