Role Overview - Quality Control Officer
We are hiring a Quality Control Officer in Vadodara to support routine laboratory testing and batch release activities within our chemical manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for BSc Chemistry candidates with 1 to 3 experience in chemical industry laboratory operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing analytical testing, maintaining quality records, and ensuring that production batches meet internal specification standards before dispatch. This opportunity provides exposure to real-time production batch testing in a chemical plant environment in Gujarat.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wet chemistry analysis for routine production samples
- Conduct titration and standard laboratory testing procedures
- Record analytical results in approved worksheets and laboratory logbooks
- Compare test results against specification documents before batch release
- Maintain proper labeling and storage of retained samples
- Ensure laboratory instruments and glassware are used and maintained as per guidelines
- Support quality documentation required for dispatch clearance
- Coordinate with production team if test results show deviation
Required Skills and Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of chemical analysis methods
- Familiarity with wet chemistry testing techniques
- Knowledge of analytical balances, hot air ovens, and laboratory glassware
- Understanding of quality control systems in manufacturing plants
- Awareness of Good Laboratory Practices and documentation standards
- Ability to handle multiple production samples from continuous shifts
Experience & Eligibility
Candidates with 1 to 3 experience in chemical industry laboratory operations are preferred. Experience in manufacturing plant quality control or batch testing environment will be an advantage.
Education required: BSc in Chemistry or related field.
