- Set up production machines based on approved setup sheets and tooling lists.
- Monitor machining cycles by observing machine panels and tool movement.
- Record production quantities in shift production registers.
- Change cutting tools and fixtures using standard hand tools.
- Move finished components to designated storage areas using material tags.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- CNC and conventional production machines.
- Machine setup sheets and tooling charts.
- Cutting tools, fixtures, and hand tools.
- Production logbooks and shift registers.
- Basic machine control panels.
Experience Context
- The role functions inside a machine shop with multiple running machines.
- Production output covers small to medium batch sizes per shift.
- Without machine setup and monitoring, production targets are not met.
