Core Responsibilities
- Supervise steel structure erection using approved GA drawings.
- Check bolt tightening using torque wrenches on site joints.
- Monitor alignment and leveling through surveying instruments.
- Record daily site progress in site registers.
- Verify material receipt against packing lists.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Torque wrenches, spirit levels, and total stations.
- General arrangement and erection drawings.
- Site progress registers and checklists.
- Material packing lists and delivery challans.
- Safety permits and work instructions.
Experience Context
- Work occurs on active construction sites with heavy structures.
- Manages erection of large-span steel buildings.
- Without oversight, alignment and safety risks increase.
