Hiring: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Chemical Industry | Vatva, Ahmedabad
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance professional to join a leading chemical manufacturing setup in Vatva, Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience in plant maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting within process industries. The position offers a strong platform to work in a structured manufacturing environment with exposure to modern maintenance practices and industrial standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment including pumps, agitators, reactors, dryers, and utility equipment such as boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards for all mechanical maintenance activities.
- Support project execution including erection and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms within the plant.
- Prepare spare parts lists, raise PR/PO requests, and maintain minimum inventory levels for smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and update entries in the ERP maintenance module.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 2 to 4
- Hands-on experience in chemical or process industry maintenance
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance systems
Salary
₹30,000 to ₹45,000 per month
