Core Responsibilities
- Inspect reinforced concrete work at active building sites using approved structural drawings and site measurement registers.
- Record daily site progress in construction logbooks and update approved bar bending schedules.
- Verify shuttering alignment and slab level accuracy using leveling instruments and site benchmarks.
- Monitor material unloading such as cement, steel, and aggregates against delivery challans.
- Prepare site photographs and quantity abstracts for submission to the project reporting system.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Total station instruments and automatic leveling devices.
- Bar bending schedules and structural construction drawings.
- Concrete cube testing records and slump test formats.
- Daily progress reports and site measurement books.
- Construction safety checklists and inspection formats.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out at multi storey residential and commercial construction sites.
- Projects involve reinforced concrete structures with repetitive slab and column cycles.
- Absence of this role results in uncontrolled site progress and structural non conformity.
