Core Responsibilities
- Carry out topographical surveys at STP project sites using total station instruments and survey tripods.
- Record ground levels and coordinates through auto level instruments and leveling staffs.
- Mark layout points on site using survey pegs, measuring tapes, and approved layout drawings.
- Prepare field survey books containing chainage readings, benchmarks, and reference notes.
- Verify site dimensions against DPR drawings using measuring chains and digital distance meters.
- Submit compiled survey records and layout sheets for DPR documentation.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Hands on use of total station surveying instruments.
- Exposure to auto level equipment and leveling staffs.
- Working knowledge of DGPS survey systems.
- Use of measuring tapes, chains, and distance meters.
- Handling of DPR drawings and survey field books.
Experience Context
- Work performed at sewage treatment plant and urban development construction sites.
- Role supports layout control for treatment units, pipelines, and boundary limits.
- Without this role, alignment errors and incorrect measurements disrupt DPR submissions.
