Core Responsibilities
- Set up laboratory reaction assemblies using reactors, condensers, and heating mantles.
- Measure raw materials using balances and calibrated measuring cylinders.
- Monitor reaction stages through temperature logs and time tracking sheets.
- Isolate reaction products using filtration units and drying equipment.
- Document experimental observations in bound development notebooks.
- Store synthesized samples in labeled containers for further evaluation.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Laboratory reactors, heating mantles, stirrers, and filtration assemblies.
- Analytical methods for reaction monitoring and material characterization.
- Development notebooks, batch cards, and experimental data sheets.
- Solvent handling systems and material storage containers.
- Safety data sheets and laboratory handling guidelines.
