- Prepare reaction mixtures in laboratory fume hoods using round bottom flasks and measuring cylinders.
- Conduct compound synthesis steps on bench scale using heating mantles and magnetic stirrers.
- Monitor reaction progress through thin layer chromatography plates and ultraviolet chambers.
- Isolate reaction products using filtration assemblies and rotary evaporators.
- Record experimental observations in bound laboratory notebooks with batch identifiers.
- Label, store, and track synthesized samples in designated chemical storage cabinets.
