Core Responsibilities
- Inspect isolator components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and gauges.
- Record inspection findings in quality checklists and material inspection reports.
- Witness routine electrical tests and log observed values in test records.
- Tag accepted and rejected parts with identification labels for shop floor segregation.
- Maintain inspection files, test certificates, and quality registers in controlled storage.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Vernier calipers and mechanical gauges.
- Electrical test reports and inspection checklists.
- High voltage routine testing methods.
- Quality record control formats.
- Microsoft Excel inspection logs.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out on the manufacturing floor and testing areas.
- Daily inspection covers multiple isolator parts and assembled units.
- Absence of this role allows defective equipment to move toward dispatch.
