Core Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed bill of quantities documents for mechanical electrical and plumbing systems using approved drawings and specifications.
- Measure installed services at project sites with reference to issued construction drawings and approved material submittals.
- Compile interim payment statements and final account documents supported by measurement sheets and valuation records.
- Review vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements for mechanical electrical and plumbing service packages.
- Maintain cost tracking registers and variation logs using structured spreadsheets and project records.
- Verify contractor bills against site measurement books and approved scope documents.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Bill of quantities preparation formats for mechanical electrical and plumbing services.
- AutoCAD drawings for service layouts and coordination plans.
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for cost control and quantity analysis.
- Project specification documents and tender drawings.
- Measurement sheets and billing abstracts used in construction projects.
Experience Context
- Work is performed in active construction sites and project offices supporting commercial control of building services.
- Role covers projects involving large scale commercial and residential developments with multiple service packages.
