Core Responsibilities
- Prepare HPLC systems for analysis by conditioning columns and setting validated chromatographic parameters.
- Perform sample preparation for finished products using volumetric glassware and analytical balances.
- Run chromatographic sequences through HPLC software and capture system generated chromatograms.
- Verify system suitability results using approved analytical method documents.
- Record test observations in laboratory notebooks and controlled analytical worksheets.
- Label and store reference standards and working standards within controlled cabinets.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- HPLC systems with UV detectors and data acquisition software.
- UV spectrophotometers and pH meters.
- Gas chromatography systems for residual solvent analysis.
- Dissolution test apparatus and calibration tools.
- Analytical method protocols and validation documents.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside a quality control laboratory within a finished formulation plant.
- Daily testing involves multiple commercial batches and stability samples.
- Without this role analytical backlogs delay batch release and market supply.
