Core Responsibilities
- Collect chemical samples from production lines and place them in labeled laboratory containers.
- Prepare reagents using calibrated balances, volumetric flasks, and approved laboratory worksheets.
- Run analytical tests on liquid chromatography equipment and print chromatogram reports.
- Record test observations in bound laboratory notebooks and controlled raw data sheets.
- Check calibration tags on analytical instruments before sample testing.
- Store reference standards in assigned cabinets with temperature monitoring logs.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- High performance liquid chromatography systems.
- Ultraviolet visible spectrophotometers.
- Analytical balances and pH meters.
- Laboratory notebooks and raw data formats.
- Chemical test methods and specification documents.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside a sterile pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
- Sample loads include multiple batches from ongoing commercial manufacturing cycles.
- Without this role, tested material release timelines extend and batch movement stops.
