Core Responsibilities
- Calibrate pressure transmitters using standard calibration pumps.
- Check sensor signal outputs with loop testers and reference meters.
- Replace faulty control valves using specification sheets.
- Record calibration results in instrument history cards.
- Verify panel indicators through simulated input signals.
Skills and Technical Exposure
- Pressure and temperature transmitters.
- Loop calibrators and signal generators.
- Control panels and field instruments.
- Calibration certificates and logbooks.
- Instrumentation wiring diagrams.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside plant utility and control areas.
- Instrumentation supports multiple machines and monitoring points.
- Without this role, equipment readings become unreliable.
