Core Responsibilities
- Collect effluent samples from ETP tanks using sampling containers and safety tools.
- Measure pH, COD, and TDS values using laboratory meters and test kits.
- Record daily ETP readings in logbooks and monitoring sheets.
- Operate blowers, pumps, and dosing systems through control panels.
- Maintain chemical consumption records and sludge disposal logs.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- pH meters, COD apparatus, and water testing kits.
- ETP pumps, blowers, and dosing equipment.
- ETP logbooks, monitoring formats, and analysis sheets.
- Chemical dosing charts and sludge handling records.
- Environmental compliance registers and SOPs.
Experience Context
- Work environment includes effluent treatment plants within pharmaceutical premises.
- System scale handles continuous wastewater from multiple API blocks.
- Without this role, environmental compliance collapses and plant operations face stoppage.
