Core Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from issued-for-construction drawings using BOQ documents and approved layouts.
- Compile RA bills by measuring completed site quantities against tender drawings and signed measurement books.
- Develop bar charts and work schedules in spreadsheet formats aligned with contractual milestones.
- Produce rate analysis sheets using material invoices, labour deployment records, and equipment hire logs.
- Draft reconciliation statements comparing cement and steel consumption with store issue registers.
- Generate periodic MIS files capturing billing status, material usage, and schedule alignment.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- AutoCAD drawings including civil, structural, and finishing layouts.
- Microsoft Excel for BOQ tracking, rate analysis, and billing summaries.
- Measurement Book (MB) formats used for civil construction projects.
- CPWD / MMRDA / airport project specifications and tender documents.
- Billing formats for client and subcontractor interim payment certificates.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out at an active airport construction site with parallel civil and finishing packages.
- Daily interaction involves large BOQ volumes covering structural, finishing, and utility works.
- Absence of this role results in delayed client billing, cost overrun visibility loss, and material mismatch.
