Core Responsibilities
- Create shipment bookings by entering dispatch details into ERP shipment modules and carrier booking portals.
- Arrange truck placement at loading bays using dock schedules, gate entry slips, and vehicle movement registers.
- Prepare packaging lists, dispatch notes, and transport documents aligned with shipment quantities.
- Update customer ASN records through B2B portals after verifying pallet counts and load sequence.
- Check truck loading status using fill-rate calculations and physical load inspection sheets.
- Monitor dock occupancy using dock utilization logs and follow up on delayed vehicle clearances.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- ERP logistics modules for shipment booking and dispatch confirmation.
- Customer and third-party B2B portals for ASN and packaging entry.
- Truck loading plans, dock schedules, and vehicle movement registers.
- Packaging standards, pallet configuration sheets, and dispatch documentation.
- Carrier booking systems and transport documentation formats.
Experience Context
- Work occurs within an automotive manufacturing plant handling multiple outbound trucks per shift.
- Daily volume includes finished goods pallets, mixed-model loads, and time-bound dispatch windows.
- Without this role, shipment bookings stall and customer delivery commitments break down.
