Core Responsibilities
- Inspect air handling units on the shopfloor using maintenance checklists and record pressure and temperature readings.
- Adjust chilled water line valves and verify flow rates using installed gauges within utility corridors.
- Clean and replace HVAC pre-filters and HEPA filters as per approved maintenance logs.
- Monitor purified water and potable water distribution lines through valve checks and pipeline walkdowns.
- Record daily utility parameters in HVAC and water system logbooks maintained at the plant.
- Support shutdown maintenance by isolating equipment using lockout tags and equipment labels.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Air handling units, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Pressure gauges, thermometers, and flow meters.
- HVAC maintenance logbooks and utility checklists.
- Purified water and potable water piping layouts.
- HEPA filters and pre-filter assemblies.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out inside an OSD pharmaceutical plant with controlled production blocks.
- Utility systems support multiple manufacturing areas running parallel shifts.
- Without this role, environmental conditions and water availability disrupt batch manufacturing.
