Core Responsibilities
- Assemble and dismantle mechanical parts of extrusion and stranding machines.
- Align shafts, rollers, and bearings using dial gauges and hand tools.
- Replace worn gears, couplings, and chains on production equipment.
- Lubricate moving assemblies according to machine manuals.
- Maintain mechanical service records for plant machinery.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Hand tools, torque wrenches, and bearing pullers.
- Gearboxes, couplings, and chain drive systems.
- Dial gauges and alignment tools.
- Machine manuals and maintenance cards.
- Industrial lubrication systems.
Experience Context
- Work is performed on heavy rotating equipment inside a manufacturing plant.
- Machines operate continuously with high mechanical load.
- Without this role, breakdowns increase and production lines remain idle.
