- Prepare joints by cleaning edges with grinders.
- Check weld beads visually against weld samples.
- Record welding details in job cards.
- Stack welded components on pallets with identification marks.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- MIG welding machines and welding torches.
- Welding parameters charts.
- Grinding machines and surface cleaners.
- Weld inspection gauges.
- Job cards and weld logs.
Experience Context
- The role functions in fabrication bays with continuous welding tasks.
- Work covers multiple welded joints per component.
- Without proper welding, fabricated structures fail strength requirements.
