Core Responsibilities
- Prepare chemical dosing solutions using weighing balances and mixing vessels.
- Monitor reaction tanks and neutralization units through gauge readings and sight glasses.
- Record consumption data of treatment chemicals in daily chemical usage registers.
- Inspect pumps, agitators, and pipelines for visible leaks and material buildup.
- Label and store chemicals in designated areas following material storage sheets.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- Chemical dosing pumps and storage tanks.
- Weighing balances and graduated containers.
- Material safety data sheets and chemical registers.
- pH adjustment and neutralization methods.
- Basic process flow diagrams.
Experience Context
- The role functions within chemical handling zones of utility and treatment plants.
- Work involves multiple chemicals handled in small to medium batch quantities.
