Core Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on biologic samples using HPLC and UPLC systems with RP, SEC, and IEX columns.
- Prepare SDS-PAGE gels and run electrophoresis to evaluate protein integrity and molecular weight profiles.
- Conduct ELISA assays using calibrated plate readers and validated reagent kits for product characterization.
- Handle cell-based potency assays inside controlled laboratory environments using incubators and biosafety cabinets.
- Review chromatograms, gel images, and assay raw data generated from analytical instruments.
- Compile laboratory notebooks, test records, and controlled QC reports for biologics testing.
Skills & Technical Exposure
- HPLC and UPLC systems with RP, SEC, and IEX methods.
- SDS-PAGE apparatus, Western blot transfer units, and imaging systems.
- ELISA plate readers, washers, and immunoassay kits.
- Cell culture incubators, biosafety cabinets, and potency assay platforms.
- Method validation protocols, analytical qualification documents, and data review templates.
Experience Context
- Work is carried out in regulated quality control laboratories supporting biologics manufacturing.
- Daily testing involves multiple batches of monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, or vaccine samples.
